but it'll be super easy to find lavi because there is really only one place to consistently find him and that's in the library. he doesn't care for some of the subject matter that he can find here to read, but he is a bookman for a reason. it'll take him a hot moment to realize that apple has come to check up on him, and he'll look genuinely surprised that he has shown up. ]

[ you know, even though he expected it, getting news that there was another death doesn't make the situation any bit better. there will at least another person who will join his (their) ranks and a girl this time.

a girl who seemed to be faint of heart and hardly deserving of being here... lavi will be wandering around (as a shadow) until finds himself at the parking lot. he's honestly not a huge fan of the space but sometimes the feet(*) just take you to a place without thinking. he'll "sit" on the edge of the parking lot where the light is strongest as he spends time with his thoughts.

maybe... maybe he'll run into the "person" he had been hoping to see since tuesday. ]

[ Said "person" is pretty difficult to spot, seeing that he's a shadow and... just a 7-inch shadow blob thing--not at all distinct like a humanoid. At first, it looks like a ball rolls towards Lavi on the ground with the way the shadow silhouette moves. ]

[ this is such a wild thing to "see" as lavi will not realize that it's anything out of the new ordinary for him. you know, since he has been able to randomly will props into existence. though with the way it rolls towards him he just has to do a double-take.

[ Not the demon/vampire kind, but it's in that very familiar(?) voice that Lavi knows. The "ball" seems to "float up" to Lavi's eye level. ]

oh, how fortunate for him that the others around him haven't stopped mentioning apple occasionally in passing so the holes to fill aren't nearly as numerous. (but he spoke some of those words into their shared existence, no?)

[ cue the shouting and him immediately shooting straight up from where he had been "standing". rabbit ears sprouting out of his head as his entire shadow-y existence grows to reflect his shock. ]

PROFESSOR!?!!

[ now back to a more reasonable sized shadow—his normal size. perhaps with a little sniffling. ]

Professor... yes, that must be me. Goodness me. My memories are truly...

[ His voice trails off for a moment before going closer to Lavi and bobbing up and down. There's no bounce of the usual collar and bowtie. 'Tis a naked apple. ]

[ excuse lavi as he needs to do some more warbling as he is very happy to see a floating and naked apple. things i never thought i'd be typing but here we are. with a few more sniffs he'll sober up. (so, apple also had his memories scrambled...) ]

[ Right after this because APPLe just needs to say it outright. ]

I was the offender who sought to fight first, as I ran into Sika Madu without warning in my car form and damaged him with my speeding wheels. They were also in the middle of a body of water, but it turned out to be blue blood. It was an entire body of water... of Sika Madu's blood.

[ So Louis's findings? Yeah! He's right!! lmao ]

Then they proceeded to retaliate by showing me treading my tires on each and every one of you. I hope you understand why I wanted to be alone for quite a few days after that.

[ It was a Wednesday.

They remind me of this family that I dealt with from my home. The two of them are oddly similar—they "pretend" to be on the side of humans but it couldn't be further from the truth.

The main difference between the two is how they view their familiar bond.

[ sika madu being willing to give up everything (including themselves) for their children... whereas the family he's referring to wouldn't approve to do anything like that. ]
